To install Root & intermediate Certificates for Intranet SSL, you'll need to follow a few steps.
Prerequisites
Purchase Intranet SSL/TLS: Purchase 'emSign Intranet SSL' Certificate Order from emSign platform.
Download Intranet SSL/TLS: Download the certificates bundle in your windows machine for installation.
Steps to install Root Certificate of Intranet SSL
1. Click the Start Button in your machine and select Run. Type mmc and Click OK.
2. Click File and select Add/Remove Snap in...
3. Select Certificates from the Add Standalone Snap-ins box and click Add.
4. Select Computer account and click Next.
5. Click Finish & return back.
6. To install your Root Certificate, Right click the Trust Root Certification Authorities, select All Tasks, then select Import.
7. Click Next.
8. Click Browse... to locate the Root Certificate and click Next.
9. When import is completed, click OK.
10. Imported Root Certificate (emSign Trusted Root CA - C6) will be displayed as below.
Steps to install Intermediate Certificate of Intranet SSL
1. To install your Intermediate Certificate, Right click the Intermediate Certification Authorities, select All Tasks, then select Import.
2. Rest of the installation process for Intermediate Certificate is same as Root Certificates.
3. Imported Intermediate Certificate (emSign Trusted Issuing CA - C6) will be displayed as below.
